Green Chemistry

Molecular topology can also perform in other apparently far off scopes, such as Green and Sustainable Chemistry. A good example is the paper recently published in Green Chemistry by the Galvez’s group:
Application of molecular topology for the prediction of the reaction times and yields under solvent-free conditions. Green Chem., 2010, DOI: 10.1039/b926047a.
The results described therein may significantly help experimentalists to decide which are the optimal reactants and reaction conditions for best performance from both the efficient and greener viewpoints.
